Creating And Managing Offline Tests

Adding an offline Test (with Rubric)

1. Click the global Add (+) at the top-right corner of the page. You can add an offline test from any page in Dash by just clicking '+'.

2. Click Offline Test. Offline test creation page will open in a new tab.

3. Tick Consider this Offline Test for Scores and enter its weightage if you want the scores obtained in this offline test to be considered for evaluation.

4. Select offline test's start and end date from the date picker.

5. Type in the Name of the offline test.

6. Click Add/Update Rubric.

7. You will be taken to the Rubric selection page. Choose a Rubric and then click Use this for the rubric you wish to add to this offline test for grading.

Note 1: Click Details to get more information about the rubric, such as, available criteria.

Note 2: You will not see Add/Update rubric button on offline creation page if competency based feature is enabled on your site.

8. Rubric scores overwrites the given score if any.

9. Select the classrooms (single or multiple) with which you wish to share this offline test.

Note: If you click the global add button on any classroom page, then that classroom will be selected automatically for the offline test.

10. Type in the Quiz Level and Quiz category as required.

11. Click Create.

12. A confirmation message appears. You can also grade this offline test using rubric from this page.

Adding competency-based offline Test

1. Click the global Add (+) at the top-right corner of the page. You can add an offline test from any page in Dash by just clicking '+' at the top-right corner of the page.

Note: You need to enable competency-based assessments prior to adding a competency-based offline test. Please contact your Site Administrator for further assistance on this.

2. Click Offline Test. Offline test creation page will open in a new tab.

3. Tick Consider this Offline Test for Scores and enter its weightage if you want the scores obtained in this offline test to be considered for evaluation.

4. Select offline test's start and end date from the date picker.

5. Type in the Name of the offline test, enter the Maximum score and select the classrooms (single or multiple) with which you want to share this offline test.

Note: If you click the global add button on any classroom page, then that classroom will be selected automatically for the offline test.

6. Type in the Quiz Level and Quiz category as required.

7. Tick Competency based.

8. Click Create.

9. A confirmation message appears. You can also give scores and competency-based grading, save and/or publish scores from this page.

10. If competency based (refer step 8) is not ticked, then only scores can be given for the offline test. No competency-based labels will be available for grading.

1. Click Assessments of the required classroom.

2. Click the required offline test. The landing page will open in a new tab.

3. Select Submissions from the more drop-down menu.

4. Enter score of the learner who took this offline test.

5. In case of a competency based offline test, grade as required.

6. Click Publish scores to publish score of this offline test.

Note: Click Save scores to save the scores of the offline test. These scores will be saved and can be published anytime in the future.
