Teamie Android app allow users to quickly access their content using the App Shortcuts. These shortcuts will help users quickly get to their favourite content inside the Teamie app based on their roles.
The shortcuts are very easy to use with just a tap and hold required on the Teamie app icon to bring up the available shortcuts. The available shortcuts would depend on the user role and subsequent permissions. This feature will allow users to leverage the Teamie mobile app in an even more efficient manner.
Based on their devices, users will be shown 4 or 5 shortcuts at a time as per their role’s permission (instructor, learners, parents).

As an instructor, you will be able to use the app shortcuts to quickly create a new thought, event, message, and access your starred classrooms or unstarred classrooms. All this with just a touch!
The order of preference for the shortcuts will be creating a thought, then event, then message and then accessing the starred classrooms (if any), and then unstarred classrooms in alphabetical order.
As a learner, you will be able to use the app shortcuts to quickly create a new thought, message, and access your starred classrooms or unstarred classrooms.

In case you are a parent, then you will be able to quickly access your child's ToDos or create a message using the shortcuts that will pop up when you touch and hold the Teamie icon.
In case you also are part of any Parent group, then that will also show up in the app shortcut based on the number of shortcuts and number of children you have enrolled on Teamie. The order of preference for the shortcuts will be children, then message option and then groups.
