Teachers have the ability to officially approve student stories that are shared within their classrooms. Once a student submits their story, teachers can review it and, if satisfied, approve the story with a simple click. This allows teachers to officially approve a students Story to confirm that their work has been reviewed and acknowledged. Let's see how you can approve student stories.
1. Access and review the story you wish to approve, then click Approve once you are satisfied with it.
2. The story will be approved and a success notification will be shown. Approved stories will display an Approved tick mark, making it clear to students that their work has been reviewed and acknowledged, along with a tooltip showing the approving teachers name. This symbol also appears in the stories listing, providing instant visual feedback.
3. Students receive notifications when their stories are approved or unapproved by a teacher, so they always stay up to date on the status of their work. Only users with the appropriate permissions can approve or unapprove stories, and authors cannot approve their own submissions, ensuring proper review control.
A notification preference is also available for this workflow, allowing students to customize these notifications according to their requirements.
