User and Classroom/Social Group Statistics Report

As an administrator, you can get a detailed user and classroom report for your Teamie site. This will help you see site-wide analytics aggregated by classrooms/social groups and users quickly and without any fuss.

This article will guide you on:

Accessing Classroom/Social group Statistics page

1. Click the sliding (three bars) navigation bar and then click Reports.

3. You will land on the Classroom Statistics page.

The classrooms report allow administrators to see all the information related to a classroom/social group.  This reports will show you the following statistics for all the classrooms/social groups present on the platform:

  • Title
  • Type (classroom/social group)
  • Creation Date
  • Status (published/archived)
  • Number of members present
  • List of instructors
  • URL
  • Points
  • Number of thought posts created
  • Number of question posts created
  • Number of task posts created
  • Number of announcements created
  • Number of task posts marked as done
  • Number of comment & replies
  • Number of posts seen (for the first time)
  • Number of lessons created
  • Number of lesson pages created
  • Number of lesson pages viewed
  • Number of SCORM lesson created
  • Number of quizzes created
  • Number of quiz attempts made (some quizzes may multiple attempts)
  • Number of assignments created
  • Number of assignment attempts made (some assignments may multiple attempts)
  • Number of assignments graded
  • Number of assignment where feedback was given
  • Number of offline tests created
  • Number of stories and stories items created (for Teamie sites with Story feature enabled)
  • Number of stories which have comments (for Teamie sites with Story feature enabled)

Horizontally scroll the table to see the aforementioned information of classrooms/social groups.

Filtering Classrooms/Social groups Report

You can apply different filters to the classroom / social groups report before viewing/exporting the statistics for further analysis:

You can apply different filters in conjunction before clicking Apply to narrow down the report as per your requirement.

Filtering Classrooms/Social groups report by date

1. On the Classroom/Social group Statistics page, click the date range filter.

2. You can select the date range from the pre-defined shortcuts, such as, "This Week", "Last Week", "This Month", "Last Month". The data will be populated accordingly from the beginning date when your site was created to the end date of the date range selected. For example, for "Last month" filter, system will generate the classroom / social groups statistics before the last date of the last month. Click Apply to see the filtered results.

By default the "Last month" filter is set on the Classroom/Social Group Statistics page.

3. You can also select any custom date range by selecting the "Custom Range" option and setting the custom date range as per your requirement and then clicking Apply. Once the filter is applied successfully, system will show all the classroom/social groups created before the To date of the custom range.

Filtering Classrooms/Social groups report by title

1. On the Classroom/Social group Statistics page, click the Classrooms & Social Groups Title box.

2.  Type the name of the classroom/social group whose statistics you wish to view. Then click Apply.

3. Once the filter is applied successfully, system will generate the statistics for the matching classroom / social group in a table format.

Filtering Classrooms/Social groups report by unique id

All classroom/social groups at the time of creation are assigned an unique id which is unique for each of them. So, this helps in distinguishing between two or more classrooms/social groups with the same name.

1. On the Classroom/Social group Statistics page, click the Classrooms & Social Groups Unique Id box.

2.  Type the unique id of the classroom/social group whose statistics you wish to view. Then click Apply.

3. Once the filter is applied successfully, system will generate the statistics for the selected classroom / social group in a table format.

Filtering Classrooms/Social groups report by status

Classrooms/Social groups can be filtered on the basis of their publishing status, i.e, whether the classroom/social group is Published or Archived.

1. On the Classroom/Social group Statistics page, click the Status box.

2. From the drop-down, select the required option. Selecting Published filter will generate the report, in a table format, for all the classrooms/social groups that are published on your site, whereas, selecting Archived filter will generate report, in a table format, for the list of all the classrooms/social groups that are archived (unpublished/not published) on your site. Then click Apply to see the report.

Filtering Classrooms/Social groups report by meta fields

If any classroom meta fields are created for your site, filter boxes will be available to filter classrooms/social groups based on their meta fields.

1. On the Classroom/Social group Statistics page, click the required meta field box and select / enter the required meta field and then click Apply to see the report for classrooms/social groups associated with that meta field(s).

In case a classroom meta field is configured on your Teamie site, you will be able to filter the classrooms using that meta field's values. Similarly, you would be able to filter classrooms using their Enrol type, if applicable for your Teamie site.

Exporting Classroom/Social group statistics report

You can export the classroom/social group statistics report as per your requirement by filtering the required classroom/social groups and then exporting the report. The exported report will be send to your registered email id.

2. Click Export.

3. The exported report will be sent to your registered email id shortly.

4. Once you receive the email, you can download the report from there by clicking Download Report button.

Download link will be available for only 30 days.

Accessing User Statistics page

4. You will land on the User Statistics page.

The user report allow administrators to see which resources or activities have been performed by individual users in all the classrooms/social groups they are part of. This reports will show you the following statistics for all the users registered on the platform:

  • Name
  • Gender
  • User creation date
  • User access date
  • User status (active/blocked)
  • Site-level role
  • Classroom & social group that user is part of
  • Profile URL
  • Number of sessions/logins
  • User points
  • Number of thought posts created
  • Number of question posts created
  • Number of task posts created (teacher role only)
  • Number of announcements (teacher role only)
  • Number of task post marked as done by learners
  • Number of comment & replies
  • Number of posts seen (learner role only)
  • Number of lessons created (teacher role only)
  • Number of lesson pages created (teacher role only)
  • Number of SCORM lessons created (teacher role only)
  • Number of quizzes created (teacher role only)
  • Number of quiz attempts made by learners (some quizzes may have multiple attempts)
  • Number of assignments created (teacher role only)
  • Number of assignment attempts made by learners (some assignments may have multiple attempts)
  • Number of assignments graded (teacher role only)
  • Number of assignments where feedback was given (teacher role only)
  • Number of offline tests created (teacher role only)
  • Number of stories and stories items created (for Teamie sites with Story feature enabled)
  • Number of stories comments created (for Teamie sites with Story feature enabled))
  • Number of documents, images, audio and video files uploaded

 

"User report" will show the cumulative count for all activities which have been performed by an individual user on different resources (posts, lessons and assessments) over a specified period of time.

Filtering Users Report

You can apply different filters to the users report before viewing/exporting the statistics for further analysis:

Filtering users report by From/To date

1. On the User Statistics page, click the date range box.

By default the "Last month" filter is set on the User Statistics page.

2. You can select the date range from the pre-defined shortcuts, such as, "This Week", "Last Week", "This Month", "Last Month". The data will be populated accordingly from the beginning date when your site was created to the end date of the date range selected. For example, for "Last month" filter, system will generate the users statistics before the last date of the last month. Click Apply to see the filtered results.

3. You can also select any custom date range by selecting the "Custom Range" option then setting the date range and clicking Apply. Once the filter is applied successfully, system will show all the users report created before the To date of the custom range.

Filtering users report by User Display Name

1. On the User Statistics page, click the Display Name box.

2. Type the name of the user whose statistics you wish to view. Then click Apply.

3. Once the filter is applied successfully, system will generate the statistics for the matching user(s) in a table format.

Filtering users report by User Mail

1. On the User Statistics page, click the Email box.

2. Enter the email id with which the user is registered on your Teamie site. Then, click Apply.

3. Once the filter is applied successfully, system will generate the statistics for the user in a table format.

Email id is unique to each user on the site and no two users can have same email id.

Filtering users report by Site Status

1. On the User Statistics page, click the User Site Status box. By default, the 'Active' filter will be applied.

2. From the drop-down, select the required option. Selecting Active filter will show the cumulative count for all the activities which have been performed by all active users, in all the classrooms/social groups, they are part of, whereas selecting Blocked filter will show the cumulative count for all the activities which have been performed by all blocked user, in all the classrooms/social groups, they are part of, over a specified period of time. Selecting both will show all the users on the site.

Blocked users cannot login to your Teamie site are hence, they are excluded from billing. All the content created by them will still be available on the site.

Filtering Users report by User Roles

1. On the User Statistics page, click the User Roles box.

2. Select the required user role.

3. You can also select more than one user role as per your requirement. Click Apply to filter the page.

Filtering Users report by User Meta Fields

If any user meta fields are created for your site, filter boxes will be available to generate user statistics report based on those meta fields.

1. On the User Statistics page, click the required meta field box (for example, in the following screenshot two user meta fields are setup on the site - 'Level' and 'Location') and select / enter the required meta field values and then click Apply to see the resources consumed or activities performed by the filtered users, in all the classrooms they are part of.

Exporting User Statistics report

You can export the user statistics report as per your requirement by applying the required filter(s) and then exporting the user statistics report. The exported report will be send to your registered email id.

2. Click Export.

3. The exported report will be sent to your registered email id shortly.

4. Once you receive the email, you can download the report from there by clicking Download Report button.

Download link will be available for only 30 days.
