Completion certificate is a optional feature which can be enabled by an administrator for a site. Awarding Certificate is a Site Level setting and if instructors do not want to award certificate for classroom completion then an administrator can disable this feature.
Prerequisite for this feature is that the completion rules should be enabled for classrooms on the site.
1. Click the Dash sidebar and then click Manage Optional Features under the Manage Teamie heading.

2. Click Enable for the Completion Certificate card.
3. A confirmation message appears. Click I understand. Enable. Enabling this will show a Download Certificate button for learners once they have met the completion criteria for a classroom. You will get a bulletin board notification once the feature is enabled.
4. Similarly, you can disable the completion certificate feature (if already enabled on your site), by clicking Disable on the card and then I understand. Disable on the confirmation message. You will get a bulletin board notification once the feature is disabled.
By default, if the certificate feature is enabled at the site level, then the certificate download option becomes available for all the classrooms that have the classroom completion enabled. But, we have a configuration to make the certification as an optional feature at the classroom level in the form of a Make certificate optional setting. Once this setting is enabled at the site level, then you can enable optional certification at the classroom level. Let's see how:
The Enable Certificate setting is an optional setting and you need to contact us in case you wish to enable that on your Teamie site.
1. If the Make certificate optional setting is enabled at the site level, then each classroom edit page will have an Enable Certificate setting. Access the required classroom and then click the gear icon.
2. Click Edit classroom settings.
3. The classroom edit page will have an Enable Certificate setting. Tick Enable Certificate to enable the setting. Then, click Save at the bottom of the classroom edit page to save the changes.
4. If the aforementioned setting is enabled for a classroom, then learners will have the option to download the certificate on the classrooms completion. In case it is disabled, then no certificate will be available on the classrooms completion.
As an administrator, you can configure the classroom completion certificate template as well the materials completion certificate. The classroom completion certificate would be available for learners to download once they have met the completion criteria for a classroom. You can create multiple classroom completion certificates and then choose to attach different classroom completion certificates at a classroom level, so that different classrooms can have a different template.
Similarly, materials certificate template would allow instructors to enable certificate for individual materials (lessons, assignments, quizzes, offline tests and graded discussions) at a classroom level. Learners can then receive certificate for the completion of individual materials. An independent template will be used for material level certificate different from the classroom level template, and upon completion the learner will have a download certificate option.

The default template(s) will be used for all new completion certificates that do not have a template set for it. Changing this default will not affect already created certificates and will immediately be used for all newly created certificates.

So, when the certificate is generated, the tokens will be replaced by users' full name, classroom's title and the date and time on which the user completed the classroom.

As an administrator, you can set certificate template for multiple classrooms in bulk from the Manage Classroom page.
We will have a new bulk operation in the Manage Classroom view labelled Set Certificate Template, which will allow administrators to select a list of classrooms by a filter (for example, a given Department value) and run the bulk operation to set the certificate template for all these classrooms
The bulk operation process screen will allow the user to select the classroom template from a dropdown. Default will also be an option here, which would mean it will unset any chosen template for that classroom and revert to site-level defaults.
1. Under Manage Teamie section, click to expand Modules and then select Manage Modules.

2. On the Manage Modules page, you can use the filters to quickly filter the required classroom(s).
3. Select the required classroom(s) or select all the filtered classrooms at once.
4. Click the - Choose an operation - dropdown and select Set Certificate Template.
5. Click the Certificate Template dropdown and select the required certificate template. All the classroom completion certificate templates available at the site level will be shown in the dropdown including the default certificate template.
The certificate will be set only for the classroom in which the certificates are already enabled. This bulk update does not enable certificate for these modules if not already enabled.
6. Click Next.
7. Then click Confirm.
8. The selected certificate template will be set for the required classrooms.
You can manage the certificates downloaded by learners (both classroom/module and material completion certificates) by exporting the admin report to track all the certificates generated and downloaded on your Teamie site along with their unique certificate numbers. This export can be done in both CSV or XLS format. You can also filter the certificate downloaded by learners based on their email, name, and certificate creation date. Let's see how you can do it.
Certificate is generated when a user clicks on the Download Certificate button for the first time. Subsequent clicking of the Download Certificate button will download the same certificate that has been generated earlier. Please contact us in case a certificate has to be generated again for any user.
1. Click the Dash sidebar and then click Certificates under the Manage Teamie heading. Then select Manage Certificates from the drop down list.

2. The Certificates page opens. This page has the report for all the classroom and material completion certificates downloaded by users on your Teamie site. The certificate name will be in the 'Certificate of completion: <Classroom Name> - Name of User
' format. For example, 'Certificate of Completion: Math 101 - Jessica Karl'. You can filter the certificates based on the email, name and certificate creation date by selecting the required filters and clicking Apply.
3. In the following example, we are filtering the certificates by a Certificate Owner Name.
4. The list of all the classroom and material certificates for the user with that email id will be shown. Click Download to download and view the required certificate (in PDF format). For example, the following case, we are downloading a certificate achieved for a lesson completion by the user named Jessica Karl.
5. You can also export the certificate report (filtered or unfiltered) from this page in both CSV and XLS format by clicking the corresponding buttons present at the bottom of the page.
6. The report will be exported shortly in the selected format. Here, we have downloaded the report for Jessica Karl in the XLS format.
