Creating and Managing Programs on Teamie

A Program is a collection of modules (classrooms) on Teamie. As an administrator, you can create a Program and link modules to it and the Program will act as a grouping container for modules the a user is already part of. Let's see how this can be done:

Enabling 'Program' feature on your Teamie site

1. Click the sidebar and select Manage Optional Features under the Manage Teamie section.

2. On the Manage Optional Features page, click Enable for the Program card.

3. A confirmation message appears. Click I understand. Enable.

4. You will get the notification once the feature is enabled on your Teamie site.

Disabling 'Programs' feature on your Teamie site

1. Click the sidebar and select Manage Optional Features under the Manage Teamie section.

2. On the Manage Optional Features page, click Disable for the Program card.

3. A confirmation message appears. Click I understand. Disable.

4. You will get the notification once the feature is disabled on your Teamie site.

Accessing the Programs page

You can access the Programs page to create new programs or access and edit the existing ones.

1. Click Manage Programs.

2. You will be taken to the Manage Programs page where you can create a new program or view / edit any existing program.

Creating a Program

2. Click Add New Program.

3. Add the name of the program.

4. In the Add modules field, start typing the name of the module that you wish to link to the program.

5. Then, select the required module from the list.

In addition to the module title, the module list will also show the module thumbnail and group unique code. This will help administrators to easily find out which module they want to add to their program, in case more than one module have the same title. In case of archived module(s), an Archived label will be shown next to them.

The list will show the modules that are not linked to other programs.

6. Similarly, you can add/link more modules to a program.

7. Then, click Save to add the program with the linked modules.

8. You can repeat the aforementioned steps to add more programs to the site.

Editing a Program

2. Click the edit icon for the required program.

3. Make the changes in the program title as per your requirement and click Save to save the changes.

4. You can also add modules to a program while editing it.

2. In the Add modules field, start typing the name of the module that you wish to link to the program.

3. Then, select the required module from the list.

Removing/Unlinking a module from a Program

2. Click X for the required module that you wish to remove/unlink from the Program.

3. The module will be unlinked from the program. Click Save to save the changes. Similarly, you can remove more module from a program.

You cannot remove all the module from a program and you need to have at least one module in a program.

Deleting a Program

2. Click the delete icon of the required program that you wish to delete.

3. A confirmation message appears. Click Delete to delete the program.

4. The program will be deleted and the module(s) in that program will be unlinked from the program. The module(s) will not get deleted for the users and will now show under 'No Program' category for users.

Program Filter on the Manage Classrooms page

You can see the Program column and filter on the Manage Classrooms page to quickly find classrooms / modules linked to a program.
